Amber Whittemore, RD
Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Counsellor, Neurodiversity Coach
Amber is a Registered Dietitian and Neurodiversity Coach with a deep passion for creating inclusive, affirming care for individuals navigating ADHD, Autism, eating challenges, and complex relationships with food and body. She is the founder and Clinical Director of The Nourished Collaborative (TNC) — a practice born from both personal and professional experience.
“When I was struggling, I couldn’t find the kind of support I needed — so I built it.”
Amber founded TNC in 2020 to fill a gap in care for neurodivergent individuals and those in recovery from disordered eating. What began as a personal mission has since grown into a thriving, collaborative community grounded in compassion, accessibility, and radical inclusion.
In addition to her work at TNC, Amber now subcontracts with InFocus, where she offers nutrition counselling and support for neurodivergent clients seeking care rooted in empathy, lived experience, and evidence-based practice.
Her work centers on intuitive eating, neurodiversity-affirming nutrition, and trauma-informed care. Amber specializes in supporting clients with ADHD and Autism, weaving in lived experience and clinical knowledge to guide others toward nourishment, regulation, and self-trust.
Her therapeutic lens is rooted in:
Self-compassion over self-criticism
Radical acceptance over rigid standards
Weight-neutral, inclusive care for all bodies
Amber identifies as AuDHD, queer, and cisgender. She uses she/her pronouns and approaches her work with a deep respect for the diverse identities and lived experiences of her clients.
Through both TNC and her role with InFocus, Amber offers a space where people of all neurotypes, body sizes, genders, and orientations feel seen, respected, and supported — just as they are.
